Terminations & Layoffs: Understanding & Preparing for Ex-Employee Backlash

Violence in society and the workplace has become so common that it becomes a blur for many, creating a term that I call “threat fatigue.” Meaning, the bad news happens so frequently, most people tune it out, in essence discounting the concern or threat. For others, it becomes a quiet festering issue that is always on their minds, but rarely talked about. As cops, agents and corporate security professionals know, worst case scenarios do happen — like pandemics — but no one wants to believe the threat is real until they occur.

Fred on "Fox & Friends" with Pete Hegseth

I was interviewed by Fox news host Pete Hegseth on “Fox & Friends” as follow-up to “The Rising Crescent” series which goes into the lead up of the first World Trade Center bombing. We discussed the scope of terror in the late 1970’s and well into the 1980’s, as a prelude into what was coming to America.

"From the mid-80s to 1993, the world was on fire. America just didn't know it.”

My sound bite from the Fox Nation series called “The Rising Crescent” is the lead on social media on September 10, 2020. I’ve long believed that if we had done a much better job in the investigation of the 1990 political assassination of Rabbit Meir Kahane in New York City, we may have been able to unravel the larger threat. Curiously, I traced the firearm used in the killing as a sale to the Egyptian Army, but we could never figure out how the gun made its way back into America? The loose ends always drove me crazy. Still do.

Fox Nation special spotlights 1993 World Trade Center bombing

FOX Nation did a wonderful job telling our stories about the run up to the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, the New York City bombing plots, the capture of Ramzi Yousef, and the murder of Rabbi Meir Kahane. I’ve attached a short clip of one of my interviews that aired on Fox & Friends this week. The special series is called “The Rising Crescent.”
