One of the awesome things I get to do as a member of the Greater Austin Crime Commission is to recognize the services of the Austin Police Department K9’s when they retire. The Crime Commission pays for the medical bills of the retired K9’s. At the ceremony today, there were approximately 40 APD police officers, family members and media in attendance. Bear even got his own cake!

Fred Burton on Iranian General Soleimani's Killing
I’ve done several media interviews over the past 24-hours about the ramifications of the U.S. killing of Iranian General Soleimani in a targeted drone strike. It is just that simple sometimes. It is basic agent 101.” — Stratfor Chief Security Officer Fred Burton on the security risks of coworking, to Atlanta reporter Jarred Schenke.
